Wow... that's not really much differently priced than the standard Bos heat treated 420HC version. I love this knife in a drib bespeak too.. and carbon steel no less. The lighter coloration of the oak plays nicely with the polished contumely.

That looks dainty. I'k not a fan of the Buck 110 but that is a good option.

Wow, something like that could plow me into a fan!

Yep indeed I have carried a 110 off and on since I was a teen and a 5160 carbon blade should be welcome to any collection. My only upshot is the weight, especially he handle. My electric current edc is 2oz lighter than my 110 and is as heavy as I would go for a folder.

The 110 is a great knife, and I too have carried one on and off since I was a teenager. The only drawback is the weight, merely carrying it in the belt sheath negates that to an extent. I got a Kizer Gemini in Ti for Christmas, and talk about light weight!

If yous look around the Copper and Clad site you'll find some light weight 110s with aluminum bolsters. These come in at at around 4+ ounces as opposed to 7+ ounces for the regular folding hunter.

(This is a drop bespeak in S30V.)

Never been a big fan of the 110 as I don't like prune points. Love the drop point and carbon steel on this ane. Plus it's made in 'America! 42.00, tin can't go wrong there!

Well have had my 110 in 5160 steel for a little while so figured I would post upwards my thoughts about it.

My particular one came with the blade perfectly centered and zero blade play in whatsoever direction. The action had a flake of that black grit from the manufacturing process in it then had to accident that out. The edge was servicable but non as sharp every bit I like, just well-nigh v minutes on a sharpening steel and it was a razor.

This is my first 110 in the drib betoken blade style. I think I adopt this one over the original. The tip is WAY stronger than the original prune point simply is nonetheless pointy enough for fine work.

$42 shipped was a steal in my book for what I received.
